Adroit Records recently presented live shows at Douglas Corner Cafe, and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to benefit hungry children through the Second Harvest Food Bank. Cheley Tackett and her Speakeasy Band, Lisa Carver, Harry Stinson, Craig Monday and Brendan McKinney donated their services.
"We collected 83 pounds of food and enough cash to provide 3,200 meals,” reported label president Jim Tract. It was a pretty big return for a minimal effort. All of us here at Adroit encourage you to take action in your community and do something to help children who go to bed at night hungry, through no fault of there own."
