Adroit Records was established to present the music of Nashville songwriters to a discerning, and what we believe to be, underserved music audience. Adroit is developing a business model that will focus on serious music fans. By taking advantage of current technology using internet networking capabilities, Adroit will rapidly spread the word that we are the source of very, very special music and talent.

Adroit Records was created to provide recording opportunities for songwriters, who perform and develop their craft in the Nashville area. As a small independent label, Adroit is committed to producing a highly artistic product without commercial limitations imposed by broadcast radio. Adroit believes there is a significant audience base that appreciates artistic creativity at a very high level. When the Artists’ songs are produced in a very organic fashion, Adroit showcases the songwriter and his or her music in a way that has been missing in mainstream music.

Nashville is “Music City!” For years, serious and dedicated songwriters from around the world have come to Nashville to live and write. Nashville is a big part of music history. What is Adroit Records position on illegal file sharing?

Adroit Records would simply state that downloading and taking an artist’s work without compensating that artist is stealing. If you knew our Artists like we do, as real people, with real lives, who you’d feel perfectly comfortable inviting over to the house for dinner, you would not want to steal from them.
