Grammy nominated artist and producer Harry Stinson is a native of Nashville who has worked with a star list that reads like a who’s who of the music industry. He’s done it all! He’s recorded with Peter Frampton, Bob Seger, Steve Earle, Earl Scruggs, Elton John, Dolly Parton, Lyle Lovett, Brooks & Dunn, Faith Hill, Bette Midler, Al Stewart, Leon Russell, Patty Loveless, Marty Stuart, George Jones, Jimmy Buffett, Neil Diamond, and that’s just the beginning.
Harry is a multi talented musical force, and has achieved number one success as a drummer, vocalist, writer and producer. Playing and singing on many country hits like Patty Loveless’ “Here I Am,” and Brooks & Dunns’ “Only In America,” he also co-produced Trisha Yearwood’s “XXX’s & OOO’s.” Recently, he produced the Corb Lund Band’s album, Hair in My Eyes Like a Hyland Steer, which won both Album of the Year honors at Canada’s Country Music Awards Show and a Juno for Roots Album of the Year. Harry also co-produced the 2007 Grammy nominated album Live at the Ryman by Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives for whom he is the drummer.
Now Harry steps to the forefront performing his classic # 1 hit "Wild Angels" in his own exquisite voice, produced by Jim Tract. (The two met way back in the 80's when they were both living in Los Angeles and working with a new band on Planet Records, "Mark Saffan & The Keepers." ) Their mutual respect for each other has developed into an amazing collaboration. "Not only is Harry the consummate professional and renowned for his talents as a drummer, vocalist, and producer, he is a true southern gentleman who truly lives for his art," Tract proclaimed in a recent interview.
After a recent recording session Harry sent Tract a note that read, "All troubles and life's trials cease when we are creative...what a gift."
